朗閣專家解析雅思口語考試的常見話題

近期雅思口語考試Part 2部分出現(xiàn)了這樣一道題，即Describe what you did last week.

許多學(xué)生在看到這一話題時，或者不知所措無話可說，或者說出一大篇流水賬來，導(dǎo)致終考試結(jié)果常常不盡如人意。其實，朗閣海外考試研究中心在研究了口語考試的常見話題后發(fā)現(xiàn)，有如下一些(或一類)話題都與這類話題非常類似。舉例如下：

1. a picnic/a meal outdoors/a special/strange meal;

2. a sport event(特別強(qiáng)調(diào)描述其過程);

3. a party you threw for your family members or friends;

4. a public event (except sport events);

5. a traditional event;

6. a traditional festival;

7. a walk with a friend;

8. an important conversation(that you had in the past);

以上話題與Describe what you did last week話題類似，都涉及描述一段時間中發(fā)生的事情的流程。因此可以將這些話題歸納為描述過程類話題，并幫助考生從這個角度備考。

在準(zhǔn)備描述過程類話題時，朗閣海外考試研究中心建議考生們首先應(yīng)準(zhǔn)備好表示連接關(guān)系的詞匯，共有三類。首先是直接表示時間的詞語，如Monday, On January 2nd等引導(dǎo)時間狀語從句的從屬連詞，這在描述過程類話題時屬于必備單詞;同時并不困難，考生準(zhǔn)備起來很輕松。其次是可以連接上下文的一些詞匯，如afterward, first, later, then, soon, until, first(of all), ...... ; and .........; also, .......; at the same time...... Meanwhile......等。同時，考生還可以使用表示因果等關(guān)系的詞匯連接上下文，如because, so等。善用這些詞匯，可使表達(dá)更清晰。

在具體討論過程時，朗閣海外考試研究中心建議考生將需提及的事件分類，重點突出某一事件，做到全面覆蓋，重點突出。下面以前文提到的Describe what you did last week.話題為例，說明這種類型題目的描述方法。

Actually I did a lot of things last week. [直接引出話題]

From Monday to Friday, I went to school as usual. Everything was just the same as all the weekdays I had this semester. I had classes, I did homework, and I also attended endless exams. [事件分類，先略談一周的非重點活動]

The weekend was the highlight of the week. [引出重點活動]

Unexpectedly I had two days off, which makes me really happy. On Saturday morning I went to kara OK with my classmates. We haven't been there for a long time so we had great fun there. Actually we sang for like 6 hours until we could barely talk. Then we went to have dinner at a self-service cafeteria in the evening. We had a good meal there. [詳細(xì)描述重點活動之一，注意連接詞的使用]

Sunday was exciting too. I decided to visit Hubei Museum on Sunday morning. I haven't been there for ages because I've been busy with my study. I asked my best friend, Jerry, to come with me. We spent the whole morning there and saw many new antiques that I've never seen before. After that I took a break for the rest of the daybecause I still had to go to school the next day. [重點活動之二]

由以上描述可見，在描述過程類話題中，考生只要能善用以上三類詞匯，并做到全面覆蓋，重點突出，描述過程類話題即可迎刃而解。
